This world is very weird and funny at the same time. Top Northern leaders have ignored the burial of patriotic sons of the soil, Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 others, as they attended the wedding ceremony of AGF, Malami’s son in Kano today.
On May 22, 2021 Abirul-Rahman Malami (AGF Abubakar Malami’s son) wedded his wife, Aisha Umar at Alfurqan Juma’at mosque in the Kano metropolis. Their Islamic wedding ceremony was attended by top Northern leaders, including the governor of Kano State, Ganduje.
Some of the top leaders who also attended the wedding ceremony are: Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State.
At this point, Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai deserves an accolade for shifting his tight schedule to attend the burial of military men who died in a Beachcraft 350 aircraft.
Nigerian Activist, Reno Omokri, has over dragged top Northern politicians who ignored late Ibrahim Attahiru and other military officers’ burial ceremony, but attended the wedding ceremony of AGF Malami’s son.

Reno Omokri took to his Twitter page to call out the hypocritical top northern leaders, including President Buhari for ignoring the burial ceremony of men who fought and sacrificed their lives for many Nigerians.
Reno asked an important question, which is: “What’s the benefit of fighting and dying for Nigeria? His question is touching and an eye-opener to see that Nigerian politicians don’t care about anyone, but themselves.
Reno Omokri’s statement reads: “General died in service for Nigeria, and our President and Governors did not attend his funeral in Abuja. But our Governors were able to attend the wedding of the son of the Attorney General of Nigeria today. What is the benefit of fighting and dying for Nigeria?”
